Who are we?

At ChiroKids, we believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive. Chiropractic care for special needs children is not about “fixing” or curing conditions, but rather about providing gentle, supportive care to help their bodies function as best as possible.

How Chiropractic Can Help

  • Reduce muscle tension and stiffness that often comes with conditions like cerebral palsy.
  • Support posture and spinal alignment, helping to manage challenges such as scoliosis or pelvic tilt.
  • Encourage better comfort and mobility, so children can move and engage more easily in daily activities.
  • Address common secondary concerns such as sleep disturbances, reflux, or constipation.

Our Approach

  • Gentle, individualized care tailored to each child’s unique needs.
  • Collaboration with other professionals (physiotherapists, occupational therapists,
medical doctors) to provide the best overall support.
  • Focus on quality of life, helping children feel more comfortable, supported, and able to enjoy everyday experiences.

Our goal is to create a safe, supportive space where children and their families feel cared for and understood. Working multidisciplinary is a vital part of that journey, ensuring that together we can support every child in reaching their fullest potential.

Dr Kate Kelly

Kate is a passionate chiropractor, and Mom to three busy, beautiful children. During her time as a chiropractor, she has maintained her love of treating athletes, and also developed a keen professional and person interest in paediatric chiropractic.

Kate’s passion for pre- and postnatal as well as paediatric care was ignited by her own pregnancy and motherhood journey, and helping her babies grow, thrive and reach their milestones.

She loves helping babies feel more comfortable in their own skin, feel less pain and discomfort and grow into awesome, well adjusted, little humans. She is also highly motivated to help Moms enjoy every stage of their journey.

Kate particularly enjoys the challenge of winning the trust of busy toddlers and children, and encouraging them to participate in managing their own health. She has a special interest in special needs children and cerebral palsy as a result of her family experiences, and believes that working as part of a multidisciplinary team can achieve the best results.
